Florida All-Star Volz leads CVST at H-Man Race CVST's Emma Volz (16) led the way for CVST at last weekend's Annual Hurricane-man 2.4 Mile Rough Water Swim. While the weather was great for the race, the Gulf of Mexico was still a bit choppy and even had whitecaps breaking over the race course. Volz was CVST's best finisher with a best time by about a minute for the course. Her time of :51:30.00 was good enough for second place in her age group (15-18 Girls) and third place overall. ...

The Green Sarges Beat Out the Blues Brothers (The Screaming Blueberries) By: Courtney Prima, Green Team Member At this year’s annual Blue/Green Meet, people expected the Blue team to win. Rawls Family Takes Family Relay Trophy Last night at the Annal CVST Family Night, the Rawls Family came away with the Annual Family Relay Trophy. This year, there were six families who vied for the 3+ foot trophy, and the honor of keeping the trophy until next year's Family Night. CVST Finishes Senior Champ's Same Way They Started CVST Finished up the 2011 Spring Florida Swimming Senior Championships in they same way they started, going five for five best times on the final day. The day started with Emma Volz (15) going a personal best in one of her off events, the 15-16 Girls 100 yard Freestyle, where she went :57.12. CVST Starts Senior Champ's 3 For 3 The first day of the 2011 Florida Swimming Spring Senior Championships is in the books and CVST swimmers went three for three best times. The evening started off with Emma Volz (15) going 10:41.13 in the 15-16 Girls 1000 yard Freestyle cutting just over five seconds off her previous best. CVST Alum Lynch 7th at ACC's In 50 CVST Alum and brother of Miss Meredith, Sullivan Lynch, is swimming in his final ACC Championship Meet this weekend for the Ramblin Wreck of Georgia Tech. Rawls Leads CVST With First "FLAGS" Cut CVST headed over to the Long Center, in Clearwater this past weekend for the Last Chance Meet and Fitz Rawls (12) of the CVST Senior 2 Practice Group led the way with his first ever Florida Age Group Championships (FLAGS) qualifying swim.
