CVST Starts Senior Champ's 3 For 3
The first day of the
2011 Florida Swimming Spring Senior Championships
is in the books and CVST swimmers went three for three best times. The evening started off with Emma Volz (15) going 10:41.13 in the 15-16 Girls 1000 yard Freestyle cutting just over five seconds off her previous best. Next up was Jackie Kenny (15), also competing in the 15-16 Girls 1000 yard Freestyle, where she also dropped just over five seconds with her time of 11:30.45. Finishing up the evening for CVST was Corey Stein (15) in the 15-16 Boys 1000 yard Freestyle. Corey had the largest drop of the evening slicing over 30 second from his previous best and going 10:52.00.
The meet continues tomorrow, at the YMCA Aquatic Center in Orlando, with Prelims at 9:00am and runs through Sunday. For complete results from the meet, visit the
