CVST September Swimmer of the Month - Lillian Garrett   Lillian Garrett (11) - Lillian Garrett of the CVST Silver/Gold Practice Group has been named the recipient of the September 2010 CVST Swimmer of the Month Award.  During the month of September Miss Garrett swam in two meets and  went all best times, including a drop of 29 seconds in the 100 yard Individual Medley.  Congratulations Lillian and keep up the great work!

Emma Volz - August 2010 Swimmer of the Month Emma Volz (15) has been named the CVST Swimmer of the Month for the month of August 2010. Emma receives this award based on her outstanding performance at the USA Swimming Southern Zone Senior Championships, held August 3-7, in Orlando. While there, Volz swam to Silver Medals in the 800 and 1500 meter Freestyle events and a Bronze Medal in the 400 meter Freestyle. Congratulations Emma and keep bringing home the hardware!

CVST Celebrates 2009-2010 Swim Season CVST celebrated the 2009-2010 Swim Year yesterday with their Annual Awards Panquet and a Splash Bash Party.  The event was a three hour ezxtravaganza with a fantastic brunch buffet served up by the chef and kitchen staff at Emerald Greens.  The first hour was filled with lots of food and socializing with our friends that we haven't seen in a few weeks.  The second hour was the important one, with the presentation everyone's Time Dropped Certificates, the Annual Team Gift (Colorful CVST Logoed Beach Towels),...

USA Swimming SZ Senior Champ's: Meet Concludes As It Started For CVST...  Fast! The USA Swimming Southern Zone Senior Championships concluded tonight in Orlando and for CVST things ended just as they began five days ago.  that is with Emma Volz picking up a Silver Medal.  This time it was in the 1500 Meter Freestyle where she was just edged out for the Gold, by just .53 of a second.Her time of 18:03.26 was a drop, from her previous best time, of almost 30 seconds. USA Swimming SZ Senior Champ's: Recap of Last Prelim Session   In the last morning session of the meet, Maria Zambito started CVST off with a blazing 50 freestyle. Maria went a personal best, dropping an entire half second off of her previous time. USA Swimming SZ Senior Champ's: Volz Picks Up Bronze In 400 Free Emma Volz led the way tonight for CVST's 400 Freestylers at the USA Swimming Southern Zone Senior Championship.  She picked up the Bronze Medal with a personal best time of 4:39.38.  Jackie Kenny also went a personal best in the event with a 4:53.09 and picked up the 10th Place points finishing second in the consolation finals.  Keeping the momentum rolling was Maria Zambito who finished 12th in the event and droppped a whopping 12 seconds from her...
