Tyler Bowles Named CVST September SOM   The Carrollwood Village Swim Team has named Tyler Bowles (14) as the 2014 September Swimmer of the Month.  For the month, the fourteen-year-old Senior 2 practice group swimmer dropped a total one minute and forty-four seconds.  At the Saint Petersburg Aquatics / Total Team Wares Invitation, Tyler swam to best times in seven out of eleven races. Oasis Grill Shifts To Weekend Hours Only   This is an FYI, for all of our CVST members.  Beginning this Monday, September 29th, the Oasis Grille will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm, and will colse all together for the season on October 26th.  The Oasis Grille will be open for special events like the CVST's Home Swim Meets, but wil have a limited menu for these events.  

CVST Swimmers Brave Storms To Set Bar For New Swim Year   This past weekend in St. Petersburg, 17 of CVST’s athletes proved their determination by swimming through a storm at the Total Team Wares Invitational. Though the rain was unrelenting and the wind was chilly, Tyler Bowles (14) started the team off with a 14 second drop in the 200 Individual Medley (IM) followed by Lauren Kenny (12) with a 7 second drop.
