Tyler Bowles Named CVST September SOM
The Carrollwood Village Swim Team has named Tyler Bowles (14) as the 2014 September Swimmer of the Month. For the month, the fourteen-year-old Senior 2 practice group swimmer dropped a total one minute and forty-four seconds. At the Saint Petersburg Aquatics / Total Team Wares Invitation, Tyler swam to best times in seven out of eleven races. He had a big time drops in his 200 yard Breast stroke (11.24 seconds), 200 yard IM (14.03 seconds) and a huge drop in the 1000 yard Freestyle (1:11.73 seconds). Earlier in the Month at the CVST Friday Night at the Races, Tyler also swam to a best time in his 100 yard Freestyle nearly breaking the one minute barrier by swimming a 1:00.66.
