Kylie Coles, CVST May SOM   The Carrollwood Village Swim Team has named Kylie Coles as the May Swimmer of the Month.  For the month the 9-year-old Silver practice group member swam to five best times out of seven events.  Kylie improved an average of 5.91% per best time with her greatest improvement of 11.70% in the 50-yard Breaststroke.  At the Dick Smith Invitational held at Clearwater’s Long Center, Kylie swam to best times in her 50 yard Freestyle (35.84) and 50 yard Butterfly (50.38).  Three days later in her...

CVST's June Nutrition Challenge - Eat the Rainbow!   Beginning June 4th, the Nutrition Challenge will be to eat different colored fruits and veggies. The coaches will be asking swimmers how many different colored fruits and veggies they ate prior to coming to practice for the day. The reasoning behind this challenge is that different colored fruits and veggies supply different vitamins and minerals, so the more variety of colors you eat, the more various vitamins and minerals you will consume.
