On the heals of a 6th place finish at Boys and Girls Club National Championships 2025, CVST puts up the best finish at PCL Championships in years. 3 new CVST team records were set, 10 Individual Event 1st Place finishes and 11 High Point awards.
Jayden will be swimming the 50 and 100 Free events. This is one of the meets that is conducted per World Aquatics rules and regulations and it is a qualifying meet for the Pan American Games Junior 2025 and the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. It is also for the swimmers in Puerto Rico that qualifed to be considered for a national selection in their age group and represent Puerto Rico internationally. Best of Luck to Jayden!
CVST's Carolina Arreola is the Spring Florida Age Group South (10 and Under) 200 Free Champ! She has secured a coveted spot on the Florida SwimmingTeam which will compete against the Florida Gold Coast Team at the Sunshine State Showcase, formerly All-Star Meet on March 28-30th at Indian River State College. Welcome to the big time! Florida Age Group Swimming is one of the top five swimming states nationally! One big challenge for new or younger swimmers to our sport, is that it's very hard to get a ribbon or earn an award for their swimming efforts. To provide makable intermediate goals, Carrollwood Village Swim Team has revived their team goal pin program used back in the 70’s & early 80’s. And it is working!
