CVST Needs Parent Volunteers to Head Up Committees

As you all know, the success of any swim program depends greatly on the amount of parental help and volunteers.  The team parent group often reflects the overall quality and level of standards maintained in a program such as CVST. There is always a need and many areas in which one can contribute their time and effort to the team. As you also know there is always a need for timers, officials, etc., at swim meets, but there are also other positions that need volunteers. Especially the following:

CVST Home Meet Director – Assists the Boys & Girls Club Nationals & Tampa Bay Swim Classic Meet Director in the organization and running of swim meets at the Carrollwood Pool.

New Parent Liaison – Helps to acclimate new parents to the CVST Family and helps to educate them on the CVST Program.

Fund Raising Director – works with the President and Treasurer on raising money to support the CVST Program.

Hospitality Director – works with the Vice-President to arrange Team Social Events for the athletes as well as events for the parents, alumni and supporters of the CVST Program.

Anyone interested in getting more involved or getting more information on any of these positions, please see CVST Vice-President, Jan Volz at the Green Goggles Awards Banquet or send her an email at JanVolz57@gmail.com.
