CVST Removing Destination Athlete Centennial National Invitational From Schedule
CVST is removing the Destination Athlete Centennial Invitational (March 24-27) from the 2022 CVST Meet Schedule. We are removing the meet for a number of reasons, including the Hotel costs due to Spring Break Tourist Season, and the actual meet format. It turns out that it is different than what we understood when we added the meet to the schedule and is not what we are looking for at the point in the season which it takes place. The meet has all 12&Unders and all 13&Over swimmers racing each other with out sepatating the age groups any further for scoring and awards. For example, a six year old would be competing against a 12 year old for the same points and awards.
We apologize if this causeds any inconvenience, however this decision is in the best interest of our swimmers and program at this time. If you have any questions, please see Coach Jim at the pool.
