April's CVST Health & Nutrition Challenge is a popular Challenge and also something that really works! 
 
Within 30 minutes of the end of practice is the ideal time to refuel your tired muscles since your blood flow is still high it is easier to get muscles the nutrients they need.  A great refuel drink, and this month’s Challenge is an 8 ounce glass (no larger) of CHOCOLATE MILK (or soy/almond) after practice! 
 
Since you have 30 minutes after your practice each day to complete your Challenge, swimmers should download the Weekly Checklist at the bottom of this page and fill it out with their parents each day at home. Then bring it back to the pool the first day of the following week and give it to their coach for credit. 
 
We will, as always, keep track of everyone's progress with the Challenge on the Swim Team Office Window.  Remember, this Challenge is optional, but HIGHLY recommended!  
 
We are also hoping that everyone is continuing to eat their  vegetables, fruit and getting their fiber every day. Just because a Challenges ends, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to be healthy every day!
