Dear CVST Swimmers & Parents,
 
Beginning on Monday, March 1st, we will be starting another optional, but HIGHLY recommended CVST Nutrition Challenge that will be completed throughout the month of March. This challenge is to eat a high fiber food anytime during the day prior to practice. If a swimmer had a fiber-filled snack, they will receive a sticker for the day. The swimmer or swimmers from each practice group with the most stickers at the end of the month will receive a super cool CVST nutrition bag tag!
 
Examples of high fiber foods include beans, broccoli, berries, avocado, whole grains, apples, dried fruit, potatoes, and nuts among other snacks too!
 
Fiber has been related to improvements in mental health, decreased inflammation, and overall improvements in wellbeing.
