CVST Coast to Coast Practice
On Saturday October 31st, CVST is flipping the lane ropes to yards to swim a special event. During the Senior 1 and Pre Senior Practice time from 7:00-9:00am, we are going to host a non-sanctioned event similar to a time trial where swimmers can get times in their open events or improve upon a time for the virtual Coast to Coast X-Country Meet. This practice/event/meet starts at 7:00am (get here at 6:50 since the TAC will be locked at 7:00am) and is open to the Silver, Gold, Pre Senior and Senior 1 Practice Groups. We will have semi-automatic timing. (buttons only) with the swimmers timing for each other. The events are: 10&U 50’s of each stroke and the 100 free and IM. 11&12 50’s and 100’s of each stroke, the 200 Free and IM, plus the 500 Free, SR 100’s of each stroke plus 50, 200, 500 Free and 200 IM. The coaching staff will chose your events after the Berkeley meet when all of Octobers sanctioned events are complete.
All times swum in sanctioned, high school, time trial and/or non-sanctioned meets are eligible for submissio ot the Coast to Coast X-Country Meet.
High School swimmers, if you have not yet turned in your High School times, please do so as soon as possible, so we can get them submitted.
