CCC - Important Covid-19 Update

Dear Carrollwood Country Club Members,

As I am sure you are all aware, Governor DeSantis has issued a new Executive Order to begin Phase One of Florida reopening, excluding Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade Counties.  This order extends to restaurants being allowed to open with occupancy of 25% of the total occupancy of the building maintaining 6 foot social distancing between parties, with seating for parties of 10 or fewer people and bar counters closed. Outside seating is permissible with appropriate social distancing.  We are also going to follow a Phase One of reopening Club dining facilities.  It is a “soft opening” if you will.  Below are our plans beginning Thursday, May 7th:

TO-GO:  Tuesday through Sunday 11:30am to 7pm. Daily Specials offered such as Street Taco Tuesdays, as well as our current limited menu

TURN GRILLE:  Tuesday through Thursday 9am to 4pm and Friday through Sunday 7am-4pm. Deli Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Brats, and Beverages available

TERRACE/PATIO:  Tuesday through Sunday 11am to 7pm

The Current limited menu and daily specials, single serve drinks and cocktails.  No pitchers of beer will be served. All food and beverage will be served utilizing paper and/or plastic materials.  Tables and chairs will be placed by CCC staff and MUST remain in place.  No more than eight (8) people permitted at a table at any time.

MEMBER DINING SEATINGThursday and Friday evenings ONLY from 5pm to 8pm.  RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE and MUST be made by phone to Alyson at 813-961-1381 x110.  Thursday evening will feature Prime Rib Night and one additional entrée selection plus our current limited menu. Friday evening will feature three appetizers, three entrées, and three desserts to choose from plus our current limited menu. Tables and chairs will be placed by staff and MUST remain in place. We will operate with limited seating. No more than 8 people may be seated together, and social distancing of 6 feet will be maintained between parties. China, glassware, and utensil rollups will be used for indoor dining.

POOL DECK FOOD/BEVERAGE SERVICE:  Daily from 11am to 5pm. Food Delivery from the Main Clubhouse available Tuesday through Sunday.

Member and Staff safety has been, and will continue to be, our number one priority.  Here are the increased precautions Food and Beverage is taking as we work towards and through our soft opening:
   * Required face coverings and gloves by all staff in contact with Members and Guests
   * Increased cleaning and sterilizing in both front and back of the house
   * Daily health evaluations of associates, mandatory doctor's note to return to work if work is missed due to sick day. CCC is paying for these doctor’s visits and testing to assure best practice
   * Providing single-serve items upon request, ie; ketchup and mustard packets, salt and pepper
   * Continuous hand washing and hand sanitizing
   * Limiting capacity indoor and outdoor dining, with a minimum of 6 foot chair to table distance
   * Disposable one use paper menus, printed daily

TAC OPERATIONS The daily hours of the TAC will remain 8am to 8pm and the Fitness Center, Activity Room and Oasis Grille will remain closed.

POOL: The Pool will be available for lap swimming and walking in the shallow end only.  There will be no open swim. We will limit the availability of lap swimming to 2 people per lane to accommodate up to 18 swimmers and 2 walkers at a time.  The CVST Swim Team will be resuming modified practices, using lanes 1-5 from 3pm to 8pm.  Swim Lessons will not be offered.

POOL DECK:  The Pool Deck will be open for:
   * Limited sunbathing, 8 lounge chairs, these lounge chairs will be placed by staff and MUST remain in place.
   * Food Delivery from the Main Clubhouse will be available Tuesday-Sunday 11am to 5pm. Tables and chairs will be set up for groups of four and six while maintaining 6 foot social distancing between parties. Tables and chairs will be placed by CCC staff and MUST remain in place.

FITNESS:  Following Governor DeSantis’s order, the Fitness and Activity rooms will remain closed.

TENNIS:  Tennis operations will not change except for the addition of Group Lessons. We will now be offering Group Tennis Lessons with a maximum of four people in a class.  All classes will maintain the appropriate social distancing requirements.

GOLF OPERATIONS:  Golf will continue to operate as it has, the Golf Shop gate will remain closed, one rider per golf cart, and the locker rooms will remain operating as they have.

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE:  Current maintenance practices will continue as they have, ie:  water coolers will not be replaced, no divot repair buckets at par 3 tees, and the cups/flags will continue with the modifications we have been utilizing.

As the COVID 19 pandemic and related reopening efforts continue in Florida, and the nation, our efforts will continue to follow CDC and government guidelines as we have since the beginning.  As a staff, we thank you for your continued support as we navigate through these unprecedented times.  We will continue to update you as our efforts unfold and evolve.

Sincerely,
Bob Foster, PGA
General Manager
