Attention CCC Members,
By Executive Order today, Florida Governor Desantis has CLOSED ALL FITNESS CENTERS AND GYMS THROUGH MARCH 31ST EFFECTIVE TODAY AND SUSPENDED THE SALE OF FOOD AND ALCOHOL FOR CONSUMPTION ON PREMISES. Therefore, our fitness center and activity room have immediately been closed. In the keeping with the intent limiting "social gathering" of this Executive Order, we will still offer To-Go orders from kitchen (813-961-1381 x150) and Turn Grille, but the Oasis Grille at the Tennis and Aquatics Center is now closed. We will also remove all tables and chairs from the Terrace at the Main Clubhouse and all tables and chairs at the Pool and Tennis Courts. The Pool lounge chairs will be spaced 10 or more feet apart. To further update our Members as the CoronaVirus pandemic continues to evolve, we have taken further steps in addition to those already being done to continue addressing the safety and well-being of not only our Members and Guests but our staff as well. Effective Saturday, March 21st, we will begin to implement the following procedures: Golf Operations: *Use noodles in the cups instead of leaving the cups above ground, see below *Take ball washers out of service, remove or cover them *Remove divot boxes *Take water cooler stations out of use at all locations throughout the property *Discontinue divot bottles on carts and/or other divot bottle stations *Using wider hitting stations for practice range, use noodles on putting green cups, use cup-less flag poles on the putting green Tennis: *No tournaments or scheduled league play will be permitted at this time, nor any social gatherings *Utilize new balls for private instruction – serving lessons only *Utilize racquet to push balls to net where instructor will pick up *All staff members will continue to wear latex gloves, including tennis and golf professionals who are teaching *Discontinue the use of any demo racquet or equipment *Limit any group tennis lessons to 6 people and spread them a minimum of 10 feet apart *Ball hoppers and all practice tennis balls will be sanitized after each use *Remove all cups, ice and ice containers *Remove all score cards Members will be permitted to bring their own water containers to use the with water fountains on the tennis court. Pool: *Cancel all private swim lessons
