COVID-19 Update from the Club

COVID-19 Update from the Club
Dear Members,
With the recent announcement issued by the CDC and the President specific to COVID-19, we have moved immediately to suspend in person dining operations at the Club through the end of March.
Later today, you will be receiving information outlining our Food and Beverage Operations plan for the weeks of March 18th - March 31st at the Club. We will continue to operate To-Go Operations as mentioned above, the Turn Grille and a grill located there, the Beverage Cart as needed, and the Oasis Grille at the pool as permitted. We look forward to serving our Members' dining needs during this time. We recognize the importance of the latest guidance relating to limiting the size of gatherings. As such, our Tennis and Aquatics Center has implemented several procedures requiring social distancing. We are monitoring our daily volume and will ask Members to be patient if there are wait times to utilize the tennis courts or the fitness equipment. Also, refreshments will no longer be available at the TAC front desk. Beginning now, all facilities at the TAC will only be open daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Golf Operations will continue to operate with our normal daily tee time procedures; however, we will be implementing procedures in accordance to social distancing. We ask that no more than 2-3 Members/Guests occupy the Golf Shop at one time. We will continue to wash and sanitize each cart after use. We ask that you keep the flag remaining in the hole during play. Bunker rakes are being removed today. Please be considerate of other players by smoothing the bunker out with your feet after playing your shot. We continue to practice extra vigilance relating to the sanitation of Club Operations and the hygiene of our employees. Please be sure to wash your hands frequently, especially before entering any area of the Club premises. Thorough hand washing is much more preferential to hand sanitizer. Staff Members who are ill will be asked to go (or will be sent) home. Members will be asked the same. Please stay home if you are unwell and follow safe community practice and consult the CDC for additional guidance. As this situation continues to develop, so will our planning efforts. If and when more action must be undertaken to protect our community’s health, rest assured we will be poised to respond. We will keep you posted of any changes at the Club as this challenging time evolves. Sincerely, Bob Foster, PGA Director of Operations, Florida Concert Golf Partners General Manger Carrollwood Country Club |
