Carrollwood Country Club - COVID-19 Information
Dear Carrollwood Country Club Members, With the continuing escalation of the Coronavirus outbreak, we’ve been evaluating all options to make our community as safe as possible during this time. While we want to provide you with the highest level of service, safety measures must take precedence. We have already implemented a number of those throughout the Club. These actions are not to cause unrest, but caution dictates that we take these measures. GENERAL - To the extent possible, interior doors will remain open to avoid/minimize contact with doorknobs and push bars. When using push bars, bumping them with your hip or forearm to open them is preferential to using your hands. All door hardware will be wiped down more frequently throughout the day. Wastebaskets have been placed at the exits to all restrooms. - Increased housekeeping measures are being put in place to increase the frequency of cleaning surfaces, especially metal, throughout the day. This includes countertops, doorknobs, handrails, chairs, and tables. - Sanitizing stations have been located throughout the Club in high traffic areas. Please be sure to wash your hands frequently, especially before entering any of the dining areas. Thorough hand washing is much more preferential to hand sanitizer. - Staff members have been instructed to avoid all physical contact with Members for the time being. - Sanitizing stations have been added throughout the employee areas. - Housekeeping staff will be required to wear disposable gloves whenever possible and frequently change them. - While always practiced, extra vigilance will be given to staff member hygiene practices, including proper and more frequent handwashing. - Being that the pollen is so present outside, we do expect a little more sneezing/coughing than usual due to allergies. If your allergies are causing you to sneeze or cough, please use your arm/shoulder to cover your mouth. - Food and beverages may not be brought into the Club from any outside source. - Staff members who are ill will be asked to go (or will be sent) home. Members will be asked the same. Please stay home if you are unwell. FITNESS - Fitness staff members will be wiping down all equipment frequently throughout the day. Please utilize the sanitation practices we always use and wipe down the machines before and after each use! GOLF - As always, golf towels will be washed and sanitized after each use. - Please do not return golf supplies (tees, pencils, scorecards), leave them in your golf cart. They will be disposed of or sanitized after your round. - Club golf carts will be sanitized and cleaned after each use. FOOD & BEVERAGE : General - Tables and chairs will be sanitized in between seating. FOOD & BEVERAGE : Lunch/Happy Hour/Dinner - Normal al a carte lunch/dinner will be served during normal hours. - Scheduled buffets will be served by staff members. These staff members will wear gloves at all times. -Al a carte service will be the preferred method whenever possible. Curbside Food Service - We will begin providing curbside service to all Members of the Club and to guests of the Emerald Greens Condo Resort. This service will be available immediately. Contact the Main Bar (813-961-1381 x150) to place your order. To view our current restaurant menu, please click here. Weekly Dinner Specials are available on our website under the "Menu & Operating Hours" field within the "DINING" tab. Some of these procedures are going to take some time to implement, although we expect to have this entire plan firmly in place by early next week. Please understand that these modifications are being undertaken to protect every Member, guest, and staff member of our club. Please be patient and empathetic to your fellow Member and to staff. As this crisis continues to develop, so will our planning efforts. If and when more drastic action must be undertaken to protect our community’s health, rest assured we will be poised to respond. In the meantime, and as a reminder, there are tips from the CDC (click here) and guidelines from the Florida Department of Health (click here) that are available online and continuously updated. Please let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns. Sincerely, Bob Foster, PGA Regional Director, Florida Concert Golf Partners General Manager Carrollwood Country Club |
