2019-2021 Athlete Committee Applications
The Florida Swimming Athlete Committee (FLAC) has been quickly gaining national recognition, gaining commendations and recognition from numerous national Athlete leaders for our development, organization, and engagement. Now, FLAC is opening applications for six new individuals to join this front-runner committee in the Athlete Representative community.
We are looking for motivated, high-caliber individuals to join us in promoting athlete representation and engagement in this LSC and beyond. While the position is thorough and engaging, it is also an exciting opportunity for our athletes to involve themselves in decisions and projects throughout our LSC and make valuable connections.
Applicants should be willing to meet these high expectations, show strong drive, determination, and be ready to effectively communicate with athletes and adults in frequent circumstances. We are looking for the athletes who go above and beyond in everything they do, who will jump at the opportunity to lead projects, and who will be phenomenal representatives of the nation’s finest athletes committee. (While the time commitment is not demanding - all of our members are busy community members! - the time that we do ask of athletes is expected to be high quality.)

The application is open through June 14 - it is a quick and simple process, so we encourage athletes to apply! We hope that with these athlete’s 2 year terms, we can continue to grow our impact in this LSC and in all of USA Swimming.
