Hasara Named CVST's August SOM
CVST's Sophia Hasara (14) has been named the team's Swimmer of the Month for August 2017. This was based on her outstanding performance at the USA Swimming Southern Zone Senior Championships, held August 1-5th, at Texas A&M University, in College Station. Sophia swam six individual events in the meet, the 200, 400, 800, & 1500 Freestyles and the 100 & 200 Butterflys. Of those events, five were personal best times. She also went personal best times in the 400 split of the 800 Freestyle, and in the 100 split of the 200 Freestyle for a total of 7 PBT's in just six events. She also scored in the 800 and 1500 Freestyles.
