October CFM Meet Hotel Block Information
Homewood Suites, Ocala
The CFM - Ocala Meet, is quickly approaching and a block of rooms have been established for that weekend at the Homewood Suites (same hotel as years past). If you intend on attending the meet, this email is for you. I have blocked 20 rooms at the rate of:
$188.10/night for a 1 bedroom suite (2 queen beds + queen pull out sofa & kitchen)(Only 3 Available)
$159/night for a 1 bedroom suite (1 king bed + queen pull out sofa & kitchen)(7 available)
$149/night for a king studio (1 king bed + queen pull out sofa & kitchen )(10 available).
UF plays Texas A&M this weekend at home and the hotel rates in the area are crazy. With that said, the hotel has offered us this discounted rate until SEPTEMBER 13, 2017 Any reservations made after 9/13 will be subject to the full rate. If you have the need to cancel your reservation you can do so with no penalty if you cancel before 10/11/2017.
For those that are newer to the team or may have not attended this meet previously. CVST travels twice a year and the kids love Love LOVE the away meets because of the comradery that takes place those weekends. Also, traditionally, the families all grab take out on Saturday night and we meet back in the lounge area downstairs in the hotel to have dinner together and watch college football. So please take a moment to sign up for the meet and then make your hotel reservations via phone or website.
