On April 29-30, 2017 Florida Swimming’s Gulf Coast Swim Team will host the 2017 Open Water Festival at the be beautiful Miromar Lakes, FL. With its 700-acre freshwater lake, Miromar Lakes has served as the chosen venue for the 2016 10K Crippen Cup, 2015 and 2016 10K and 5K National Open Water Championships. It’s convenient location to transportation, beaches, restaurants, hotels and shopping make it an ideal host.
LSC’s can take part in the LSC Open Water Challenge with events including group relays, team pursuits and age group open water distance competition. The weekend event will also include the Crippen Mile with proceeds benefiting the Fran Crippen Elevation Foundation.
