Halloween seems like a swimmer’s perfect holiday: Free candy distributed at every house, consumption encouraged, in the middle of our sport’s hardest season, Getting In Shape Season. As a kid, I always loved Halloween. I loved (and still love) any holiday that involves food in any capacity whatsoever. 
 
But even as swim-obsessed as I was, I never dressed up as any swim-themed monster. Truth is, there aren’t very many swim-themed monsters out there. (Unless you count some of those lowly PED-users out there.) 

Every year, I try to imagine some swim-themed costumes. This past Olympics provided a ton of great moments that could be turned into Halloween costumes.
