The Carrollwood Village Swim Team has named Catalina Salgado as the September Swimmer of the Month. For the month the 10 year old Gold practice group swimmer swam to eight best times out of thirteen events. At the CVST Friday Night at the Races held on September 9 at The Athletic Center, Catalina swam to best times in her 50 Free, 50 breaststroke ad 100 yard Individual Medley. One week later at St. Petersburg’s North Shore Pool, Catalina swam to five more personal best times. She had three swims, the 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, and 200 Individual Medley, where she dropped more than 15 seconds off of her previous best times. For the month Cat, showed an average improvement of 7.09% and swam to 62% best times.
