CVST's Griffiths Honored with USA Swimming's Pettigrew Award
Congratulations to CVST's Bob Griffiths, USA Swimming's 2016 recipient of the Kenneth J. Pettigrew Award. The Kenneth J. Pettigrew Award was created to honor Ken Pettigrew, a swimming official who devoted over 30 years to swimming. Each year the recipient is chosen by the USA Swimming National Officials’ Committee and the award is presented at the annual convention.
Last night Bob was so honored in Atlanta, at the Annual USA Swimming House of Delegates Meeting. It was a suprise for Bob and his family even traveled up to Atlanta to help with the suprise.
Congratulations Bob, thanks for all you have done and continue to do for USA Swimming and especially the Carrollwood Village Swim Team!
