Swimmers face a challenging task every day trying to balance workouts, school and meals. As everyone knows, the day starts for many swimmers with an early morning practice and ends with a very tired head hitting the pillow. Throw in at least another practice and some homework and it is easy to see how a swimmer without a nutritional recovery plan is going to fall behind their competitors. Creating a plan, sticking to it and choosing the best foods for the plan are all equally important to a successful nutritional recovery strategy.
