CVST 10 Year Olds Score Big at West Florida Invitational
The Carrollwood Village Swim Team took a group of swimmers across the Bay to Largo, Florida for the West Florida Lightning Summer Invitational last month, where the team shined, especially the 10 year olds. The team was led by Jayden Repak (10) who swam to nine of nine first place finishes in the meet and also brought home the 10&Under Boys Individual High Point Trophy. Not to be out done on the 10&Under Girls side of the meet, Ava Edwards (10) swam to two Florida Age Group Championship (FLAGS) Qualifying Times and also brought home the 10&Under Girls Individual High Point Trophy! Another star for CVST in the meet was Cat Salgado (10), who swam to her first ever FLAGS Qualifying Times in the 50 & 100 Butterfly events.
