Team USA Opens World University Games on Saturday
Forty-seven Team USA swimmers, including three 2012 Olympians and 29 members of the USA Swimming National Team, are slated to open competition Saturday in Gwangju, South Korea, at the 2015 World University Games.
The Nambu University International Aquatics Center will host the pool competition Saturday through July 10, while the 10-kilometer open water races will take place in the Jangseong Lake Regatta on July 11.
Prelim sessions in the pool begin at 8:30 a.m. locally (7:30 p.m. EDT the previous day), with finals set for 7 p.m. locally (6 a.m. EDT). Complete meet details, including a schedule of events, can be found here.
