Bubbles Picks Up CVST December SOM Honors
The Carrollwood Village Swim Team coaching staff has named Sophia Hasara (12) of the Silve/Gold practice gold as the December Swimmer of the Month. At the Harry Meisel B-Championships West, Sophie, A.K.A Bubbles, not only cheered for every race in which she was not competing, but also swam to best times in seven of her ten events. Sophie swam to personal best times in her 200yd Freestyle, 500yd Freestyle 50yd Backstroke, 100yd Backstroke, 50yd Breaststroke, and 200yd Individual Medley. Sophie dropped a total of 37.26 seconds with her biggest improvement coming in the 500 yard Freestyle where she dropped a total of 17.36 seconds.
