Lauren Kenny - CVST August Swimmer of the Month
The Carrollwood Village Swim Team has named Lauren Kenny (12) as its August Swimmer of the Month. At the Area 3&5 Swimming Championships held August 1-3 at St. Petersburg’s North Shore Pool, Kenny (12) dropped a total of One minute fifteen seconds and fifty-three one-hundredths. Lauren’s big drop came in her 200 yard Individual Medley where she knocked forty-three seconds off of her previous personal best. Lauren also had huge time drops in her 100 yard Freestyle where she dropped twenty-one seconds and in her one hundred yard Breaststroke where she dropped another 10 seconds.
