Zach Bowles Named April SOM
The Carrollwood Village Swim Team coaching staff has named Zachary Bowles as its April Swimmer of the Month. For the month the fifteen year old Cambridge Christian School student swam twelve events and swam to twelve personal best times. At the Boys and Girls Clubs National Swimming Championships, held April 11-13 at St. Petersburg’s North Shore Pool, Zach swam eight events and dropped a total of two minutes and thirty seconds. At the meet, which featured teams from various parts of the USA, Zach not only and swam achieved best times in all of his events, he also moved up in place from his initial seed in seven of those events. Zach concluded the month by swimming in the 25th Annual CVST Blue/Green intersquad meet where he swam to best times in all four of his events dropping another thirty-eight seconds off of his previous lifetime bests for a total of three minutes and eight seconds dropped for the month. Way to go Zach and keep up the good work.
