CVST's Ingerick, a Florida Swimming All-Star

At the Florida Swimming Age Group Championships, Logan Ingerick from the Carrollwood Village Swim Team qualified for the Florida Swimming vs. Florida Gold Coast All Star Meet, by placing 5th in the 10 and under boys 200 yard Freestyle.  The meet features the best swimmers from Florida Swimming which encompasses the area approximately from Tallahassee over to Saint Augustine, down to Port St. Lucie, over to Marco Island, and back up to Tallahassee against the best swimmers from the Florida Gold Coast which basically encompasses the Miami area to the Keys.  The meet is designed to bring together the best 14 and under swimmers and put them together with other swimmers they normally compete against to get to know each other and make new friends.  With an Ipad in hand, the 10 year-old Berkeley Prep student was very popular with the 10 and under boys. The boys not only bonded together with video games, but also cheered for each other and swam together on relays.  On April 5th and 6th at the Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Logan swam six individual events and one relay where he swam to three best times and a personal best split in his relay.
