Labella Leads CVST At ATAC Meet
CVST headed up to Florida State University this past weekend (Jan. 24-26) for the Mac Crutchfield Invitational, hosted by the Area Tallahassee Aquatic Club (ATAC). It was a great meet for CVST, held in the Leach Center, on campus. The team was led by strong performance from 8 year old, Kaitlyn Labella, who won five events and place second in two others and brought home the 8&Under Girls Individual High Point Trophy.
There were many strong individual performances from CVST over the weekend, and here are a few:

Sean Kenny (9) swam a great 200 Freestyle besting his previous mark by over 3 seconds while neighbor Brooke Lively (12) dropped an amazing 31+ seconds in her 200 Freestyle. Owen Mackenzie (13) had a fast 100 Butterfly, dropping almost 8 seconds in the event, and Daryl Pickerell (15) had a solid 200 Individual Medley dropping over 3 seconds in the event. Jayden Repak (8) did a great job, dropping in all of his events including 12 seconds in his 50 Breaststroke. Savannah Rude (10) had her own cheering section and some great swims, including the 100 Individual Medley where she dropped over 11 seconds. Henry Walz (11) continues to slash time from his events with two huge drops of about 19 seconds in his 100 Individual Medley and 20+ seconds in the 200 Freestyle.
CVST's 10&Under Boys Relays also scored big swims. The relays made up of Sean Kenny, Jayden Repak, Alex Freund and Logan Ingerick picked up big Third Place finishes in both the 200 Freestyle Relay and the 200 Medley Relay.
It was a great weekend for the CVST squad, with a number of new Championship Meet Qualifying Times, a ton of personal best times and a slew of hardware brought home.
