Bishop Picks Up CVST December SOM Award
The CVST coaching staff has named Mabry Bishop (9) as its December Swimmer of the Month for her performance at the 2013 Harry B. Meisel Florida Swimming “B” Championships West. At St. Petersburg’s Northshore Pool, the nine year old Silver/Gold practice group swimmer swam to six lifetime personal best times out eight individual races. For the meet, Mabry dropped a total of 24.04 seconds including an impressive 1.60 seconds in her 50 yard Freestyle (32.94), but her most outstanding swim came in a team effort in which she swam the anchor leg in a come from behind victory for the Gold Medal winning 10 and Under Girls 100 Freestyle Relay.
Way to go Mabry and keep up the good work.
