CVST Performs Well at St. Petersburg’s Mid-November Meet
The weekend of November 23 & 24, CVST headed over to St. Petersburg’s Nortshore Pool for the St. Petersburg Aquatics Mid-November Meet and had another great performance. Lots of best times with tons of time dropped!
Brielle Allison (10) in only her second meet went best times in three events including a big drop in the 100 Butterfly. Jenna Bagby (10) dropped in four events, including an amazing 47+ second drop in her 100 Freestyle. Her sister Talia (13) dropped in six of her seven events swum. Tyler Bowles (13) had a 26 second drop from his previous best 2 weeks prior in the 1000 Freestyle. Abby Eash (10) had a big drop of 16 seconds in her 200 Individual Medley and older sister Maddie (10) had her own big drop of 19 seconds in the 100 Backstroke. Eva Edwards (7) went personal bests in 6 out of 8 events while Carly Elliott (7) was 3 for 4 best times and brother Ethan (9) dropped over 9 seconds in his 200 Freestyle. Don Freund (12) had a drop of over 14 seconds in the 100 Breaststroke as Carla Garrett (11) dropped in five events and sister Lillian (14) dropped over six in the 400 Individual Medley. Sophia Hasara (11) had an amazing weekend as did Jayden Repak (7) both swimming in their first meet with the team. Catalina Salgado (8) had a great 25 Freestyle dropping almost 3 seconds, while older sister Isabella (11) dropped in all but one event including a 45+ second drp in the 100 Backstroke and a 20+ second drop in the 100 Butterfly.
Once again, you can see from just these few swimmers, CVST swimmers had a great meet. Congratulations to everyone who swam on a job well done!
