Ella Herron, CVST October Swimmer of the Month
The CVST coaching staff has named Ella Herron (6) as its October Swimmer of the Month. Herron, the six year old Bronze practice group swimmer, made quite the splash dropping 30.7 seconds at the October Friday Night at the Races held in the Carrollwood Country Club pool. Then getting starting block certified, she dropped another 31.24 seconds at the Central Florida Marlins Invitational held later in the month, in Ocala. Ella swam to best times in all four of the competitive strokes at the 25 yard distance and to best times in her 50 yard Freestyle and 50 yard Backstroke and 100 yard Individual Medley. Ella best time drop was in her 25 yard butterfly where she dropped 9.82 seconds with a new personal best time of 32.11 seconds.
