Spirited CVST Swimmers On Fire at B Champ's
CVST brought home the Florida Swimming Harry Meisel Spirit Award for the second year in a row at last weekends Florida Swimming B Championships, held at the Northshore Pool, in St. Petersburg. The CVST Swimmer's Spirit at the meet was only matched by their swimming in the water, and they were on fire!
The team was led by the following Relay and Individual Medalists:

8&Under Girls A-Medley Relay - Gold Medal in the 100 Yard Medlay Relay (Mabry Bishop, Kaitlyn Labella, Abby Eash, Sara Smith)
8&Under Boys A-Freestyle Relay - Gold Medal in the 100 Yard Freestyle Relay (Josh Selig, Logan Sorensen, Kacey Rocco, Sean Kenny)
8&Under Girls A-Freestyle Relay - Silver Medal in the 100 yard Freestyle Relay (Mabry Bishop, Sara Smith, Abby Eash, Kaitlyn Labella)
10&Under Boys A-Freestyle Relay - Silver Medal in the 100 Yard Freestyle Relay (Logan Ingerick, Gregory Cox, Chance Tirheimer, Josh Selig)
8&Under Girls B-Medley Relay - Bronze Medal in the 100 yard Medley Relay (Julia Cox, Kaitlin Depies, Savannah Kaddouri, Ava Edwards)

Carla Garrett (10) Gold Medal in the 9-10 Girls 100 Yard Butterfly
Logan Ingerick (9) Gold Medals in the 9-10 Boys 50 Yard Freestyle & 200 Yard Individual Medley, a Silver Medal in the 500 Yard Freestyle, and Bronze Medals in the 100 Yard Freestyle & 100 Yard Butterfly.
Kacey Rocco (8) Gold Medal in the 8&Under Boys 200 Yard Freestyle.
Abby Eash (8) Silver Medal in the 8&Under Girls 200 Yard Freestyle
Abby Forman (11) Silver Medals in the 11-12 Girls 500 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Butterfly and a Bronze Medal in the 100 Yard Butterfly.
Sean Kenny (8) Silver Medal in the 8&Under Boys 200 Yard Freestyle.

Anna Bolton (13) Bronze Medals in the 13-14 Girls 100 Yard Breaststroke & 400 Yard Individual Medley
Zachary Bowles (14) Bronze Medals in the 13-14 Boys 500 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Breaststroke and 400 Yard Individual Medley
Josh Selig (7) Bronze Medals in the 8&Under Boys 100 Yard Freestyle, 25 Yard Backstroke, 25 Yard Butterfly and the 50 Yard Butterfly.
Chance Tirheimer (9) Bronze Medals in the 9-10 Boys 500 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Breaststroke, and the 200 Yard Individual Medley.
There wear also many other great swims including:
Isabella Bahr (12) who dropped over 4 seconds in three different events (100 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Butterfly, 200 Yard Individual Medley);
Tyler Bowles (12) who had two huge drops of over 8 seconds each in his 100 Yard Breaststroke and 50 Yard Butterfly;
Madelynne Eash (9) who dropped almost 10 seconds in her 100 Yard Freestyle;
Lillian Garrett (13) who had a 3+ second drop in her 200 Yard Breaststroke;
Ella Herron (5) who dropped a whopping 7+ seconds in her 50 Yard Freestyle,
Emma Herron (11) who went her best time in the 50 Yard Breaststroke;
Brooke Lively (11) who had a 6+second drop in her 100 Yard Backstroke before being removed from the meet due to an encounter with a baseball bat early Sunday morning;
Christian Rodriguez (9) went his best time in the 50 Freestyle after missing Saturday's events due to illness;
Isabella Salgado (10) dropped almost 5 seconds in her 50 Yard Backstroke and finally got to swim in her Relay;
Drew Selig (8) had an amazing drop of over 60 seconds in her 100 Yard Breaststroke;
Tyler Sorensen (15) swam in his first meet and with CVST and showed his stuff, finishing in the Top 10 in all events;
Logan Tirheimer (11) dropped almost seven seconds in his 100 Yard Individual Medley to go along with another 5+ seconds in his 200 Yard Freestyle.
