CVST's Kenny Named To USA Swimming National Disability Committee
CVST's Jackie Kenny (17), has been named to the USA Swimming National Disability Committee for a two year term. Kenny, in the final year of her term as Florida Swimming's Senior Athlete Representitive,represents all of the athletes of Florida Swimming at the State and National level. Among her other duties, she has attended the USA Swimming National Convention for the past two years and based on her participation at the meetings there was selected by USA Swimming Athlete Vice President and the USA Swimming Athlete Executive Committee to serve on the disability Committee.
The Mission Statement of the Disability Committee is as follows: USA Swimming encourages people with disabilities to participate in the sport of swimming and facilitates their inclusion in USA Swimming programs through education and collaboration.
