New CVST Swimmers Shine, Veterans Swim Fast Led By Forman Pool Record
CVST held it's first meet of the new CVST Swim Year last night and it was also the first meet for many of our new CVST swimmers. But by the way the swimming was going you wouldn't have known it was the first swim meet for many of those competing.
The veteran CVST swimmers did a great job, especially for this early in their training. Abby Forman (10) even set a new Emerald Greens Pool Record in the 9-10 Girls 100 Freestyle with her time of 1:05.96 and along with the rest of our group of veterans swam to 76 personal best times in the meet!
Our new team members were not to be outshined. Led by Logan Ingerick (8) who just missed a couple of Pool Records, this group showed the Coaches, other swimmers and spectators that they were all business. Strokes were better than the Coaches had seen to date and the swims were far better than expected across the board.
