Senior Zone Meet Day 2 - Kenny, Volz Final In 200 Back
Day 2 of the USA Swimming Southern Zone Senior Championships is now complete and CVST's Seniors had another good day. In the Prelims, Corey Stein (17) swam the 100 Meter Freestyle with a personal best time of 1:00.79, while Jackie Kenny (16) and Emma Volz (17) both qualified for tonight's Finals, with Volz going a personal best dropping 4.99 seconds.
In the Finals, Kenny placed 3rd in the C Final with a time of 2:38.51, improving her time by about a second from her prelim swim. Volz finished sixth in the C Final with a 2:39.05, lowering her personal best from this morning by over two more seconds.
