Orchard Named October SOM
The CVST coaching staff has named Jim Orchard as the October Swimmer of the Month. Between the October Friday Night at the Races and the Marlins Ocala Meet, Jim swam to best times in 8 out of 9 events. For the month, he swam to personal bests in his 50/100/ 200 Free, 100 Back, 50/100 Breast, 50 Fly, and 100 IM dropping a total of 39.03 seconds. Interestingly, Jim led off the Ocala meet with the 200 Freestyle where he swam to two best times as his 100 split bettered his previous best 100 time which he later lowered again in the actual event.
Way to go Jim. Keep up the good work.
