Kenny Leads Way On Second Day
Day two of the
USA Swimming Southern Zone Senior Championships
and Jackie Kenny (16) led the way for CVST with a 9th Place finish in the 200 Meter Backstroke. Kenny went a personal best time of 2:31.77 to win the Consolation Heat in tonight's Finals. Emma Volz (16) also had the 200 Backstroke where she finished 15th and the 100 Meter Freestyle, the second of her two off events for the evening, but stepped up big and finished 12th in the Consolation Final of the event with a 1:04.33. Corey Stein (16) had a great swim in the 100 Meter Freestyle where he dropped about a second from his previous best time with a 1:00.87.
