Senior Champ's Day 3 Equals Third Cut For Stein
The third day of the 2011 Florida Swimming Long Course Senior Championships is now complete and Corey Stein (16) did it again, picking up his third qualifying time in three days for the 2011 USA Swimming Southern Zone Senior Championship. This time it came in the 400 Meter Freestyle where Stein lowered his personal best by over six seconds going 4:34.62. He also went a personal best in the 50 Meter Freestyle with a :28.91. Emma Volz (16) swam the 200 Meter Individual Medley cutting over 4 seconds from her previous best with a 2:42.72 and also went a 4:43.08 in the 400 Meter Freestyle, finishing 20th. Jackie Kenny (15) swam the 100 Meter Backstroke in a lifetime best time of 1:16.04 and also swam the 400 Meter Freestyle in a season best time of 4:55.68.
The meet concludes tomorrow at the Indian River State College Aquatic Center
