CVST Celebrates 2009-2010 Swim Season
CVST celebrated the 2009-2010 Swim Year yesterday with their Annual Awards Panquet and a Splash Bash Party. The event was a three hour ezxtravaganza with a fantastic brunch buffet served up by the chef and kitchen staff at Emerald Greens. The first hour was filled with lots of food and socializing with our friends that we haven't seen in a few weeks.
The second hour was the important one, with the presentation everyone's Time Dropped Certificates, the Annual Team Gift (Colorful CVST Logoed Beach Towels), more certificates for all of our new Record Holders and key volunteers, the presentation of the Athlete Appreciation Award to special guest Michael Greenwell, and finally the presentation of all the hardware, including the Swimmer of the Year Awards which went to Emma Volz and Corey Stein.
Finally the third hour was the Splash Bash Party, where we watched the USA National Team on the big screen as they cleaned up at the Pan Pacific Games.
